It's an early first step, but Lockheed exec Tim Cahill told Breaking Defense that he's seen interest in capabilities the turret can provide from the Saudi armed forces.
“Next Gen C2 is the vehicle, I think, that's going to bring artificial intelligence and its capabilities to our commanders in the future," Brig. Gen. Michael Kaloostian, director of the Command and Control Future Capability Directorate at Army Transformation and Training Command, said.
Like its Ivy Sting counterpart at the 4th ID, the 25 ID's Lightning Strike events will incrementally add capability, culminating in Project Convergence next year.
